Mamata Banerjee skips NITI Aayog meeting in Delhi, plans oppn meet in Patna

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has openly voiced her opposition to a recent ordinance, causing her to distance herself from the NITI Aayog meeting and cancel her planned visit to Delhi.

Instead, she will attend a meeting of opposition parties in Bihar and visit the families of victims in Egra on Thursday.

Mamata Banerjee's strong opposition to the ordinance was evident as she openly expressed her disagreement with its contents. Consequently, she decided to refrain from attending the NITI Aayog meeting, which was scheduled to take place in Delhi. Her cancellation of the Delhi tour came as a result of her focus on addressing other pressing matters.

Additionally, on Thursday, Mamata Banerjee will make a visit to Egra to meet with the families of victims. This gesture reflects her commitment to connecting with those affected by tragic events and offering her support during challenging times.
